Decorating for Christmas is one of my favorite things each year. I love keeping it simple, cozy, and filled with pieces that feel familiar and meaningful.
The fireplace is always the heart of our living room, so that’s where we start. I layered the mantel this year with garland of magnolia leaves, pinecones, velvet bows, a few glass candles and cardinals for a classic holiday look. I usually keep the family photos on the mantel; it makes it feel extra special and personal. Above the mantel, a simple wreath with plaid ribbon and greenery ties everything together.
Our tree is decorated in red, white, and gold with lots of twinkle lights and ornaments we’ve collected over the years. It feels traditional, warm, and perfect for cozy evenings at home.
On the coffee table, I kept things easy with a fresh floral arrangement and natural accents on our vintage trunk. A few festive pillows and soft textures finish off the space and make it a room we love spending time in during the season. Nothing too fancy, just a cozy, Christmas filled home we enjoy year after year.
