10 Ways to Simplify Your Life (Free Printable)

In the beginning of the year I've shared my word of the year with all of you, the word is: simplify. As I move along this year I hope to share a few things with you of how I am simplifying my life. I've created this simple printable to share with and 10 ways to simplify your life as well. Take a look:

1. Get a planner - I've been using a planner for the past few years and I can tell you that it has helped me in so many ways. Life can get so busy and writing things down and planning ahead helps and keeps me from getting stressed.

2. Prioritize - I've a really hard time prioritizing things in my life, but I also have come to an understanding that's okay to say "no" to things and to people from time to time.

3. Create a morning routine - This is a big important one! Creating a morning routine is so important because it sets the tone for the rest of your day. Waking up early, enjoying a good healthy breakfast, organizing the house, these little things matter and will have an impact on your day. But remember to create a morning routine that works for you and that you will enjoy!

4. Declutter your home - I did this in the beginning of the year by decluttering every closet in the house, giving away things and clothes we don't use anymore, making sure that everything we have in our home has a purpose. As you declutter your home, you'll see how easy it is to declutter yourself.

5. Spend less time on social media - I'm must admit that I was quite obsessed with social media, but lately I've been able to cut down on my time. It helps that I don't have snapchat or twitter, but I still use Facebook once in a while, also I've managed to cut down on my time with Instagram, that's a big one for me! 

6. Spend more time in nature - I love to be outdoors and I'm looking forward to this Spring, to go explore and see new national parks, hike or to simply enjoy my own backyard. The point is to be out and appreciate nature's beauty.

7. Read more books - I love reading but the past few years I've been quite lazy with reading books, this year I want to change that, I've even been following some book clubs and I'm excited to see what great books I'll find.

8. Value your time and others - Time is a precious thing, something you can never gain back. So, choose wisely how to spend your time and how you spend with others, eliminate things that don't matter and eliminate toxic people from your life too.

9. No complaining - Leave no room for complaining, just gratitude. Complaining about everything doesn't change the situation, it only bring negativity. So, instead of complaining, find gratitude in everything.

10. Slow down - We live in such a crazy, fast paced world today, taking the time to slow down and breathe is so important.
