New York City is one of our favorite cities to visit and we try to visit every year. NYC is so magical and filled with so many things to do and see. On our last visit in September, we stopped by Times Square, took the kids to the Disney store for some gifts, visited the Met museum, walked trough Central Park all the way down 5th Ave, stopped by Rockefeller Center and the Lego store too. Ate some delicious food at Kung Fu Kitchen, visited the Vessel and shopped at Chelsea Market. And to finish our visit, we walked the beautiful High Line Park. Take a look:

Em nossa última visita em Setembro, paramos na Times Square, levamos as crianças à loja da Disney para alguns presentes, visitamos o museu do Met, andamos pelo Central Park e pela quinta avenida, paramos no Rockefeller Center e na loja Lego também. Last Sunday, we visited the Pennsylvania Anthracite Heritage Museum. A museum with exhibits showcasing life in the area's mines, mills and factories. It's filled with so many interesting displays and historical facts, my kids loved spending the afternoon there. If you ever stop by Scranton, make sure to make a stop here, the museum is located inside McDade Park. Take a look:

I love sharing recipes that are super easy and with just a few ingredients. Today's recipe only takes 5 ingredients to make it and it's delicious too. The baked eggplant pairs really well with the tomatoes and green chilies, take a look:

A few weeks ago, I visited The Wandering Hen Cafe & Market to meet my friends for lunch. I absolutely fell in love with this place and the atmosphere! It's a farm to table breakfast and lunch cafe using all locally source ingredients and also offers vegan options, yay!

The market has a great and unique selection of local goods as well. 

For lunch I ordered a Mushroom BLT Sandwich with mushroom "bacon", tomato, lettuce, cress pesto served on sourdough slices. It was absolutely delicious!

And to drink, I ordered a Mango Peach Counterpart Kombucha.

I was organizing some folders on my computer and found these photos of the kids playing mini golf from awhile ago, I can't believe how much they have changed! I remember how much fun they had playing mini golf, even though it was a very hot summer day and we were sweating so much while playing it. Take a look:
